现在100万美元的可投资资产可能买不来在1956年时买得起的豪华侍从，但是100万美元仍然可以用来定义财富。根据凯捷咨询(Capgemini)和美林公司(Merril Lynch)6月22日发布的一份报告，2009年到2010年期间，世界各地百万富翁的数量都有增长。报告中最有趣的数据是，日本百万富翁中女性所占比率(31%)要超过西欧(18%)。大国中唯一一个百万富翁数变少的国家是意大利。但是，谁愿意沉溺于香槟啊？

i still don't understand why the author quoted "still, who wants to wallow in champagne?" what's the point of adding this line? the translation above didn't enlighten me.
