Nicole Mfoafo-M'Carthy
Biography
Nicole is a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto and a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Nicole is committed to contributing to health policy that focuses on the well-being of marginalized communities and populations. Prior to entering medical school, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (Honours) with a concentration in anthropology at the University of Calgary in 2020. Nicole has demonstrated commitment to local communities by developing and fostering mentorship programs and by being involved with community organizations including the Women’s Resource Centre. At Oxford, Nicole intends to pursue an MPhil in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy. She aspires to combine her graduate studies with her clinical background to enhance both patient care and health practitioner experiences. She enjoys writing, reading, basketball and swimming.
