Maddy McGregor
Biography
Madeleine was a Tuckwell Scholar at the Australian National University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) and Bachelor of Economics with prizes in International Dispute Resolution. Madeleine’s key interests are in international and human rights law, aiming to strengthen human rights in Australia through movement lawyering. At ANU, she interned with the Aboriginal Legal Service, Kimberley Community Legal Service and established multiple community organisations and projects targeting systemic disadvantage. Enjoying advocacy, Madeleine also competed in several national and international mooting competitions. She is a long-distance runner, and enjoys hiking, rock climbing and adventuring outdoors.
