Christian Farrier
Biography
Prior to coming to Oxford, Christian was a second year paediatrics resident at the Alberta Children's Hospital and University of Calgary, having received the Chancellor's Club Scholarship and graduating with his MD in 2020. He has a long history of community involvement, particularly as a patient and family advisor in the healthcare system. Christian is pursuing a DPhil in Primary Health Care with a project focusing on the diagnosis of noncommunicable paediatric conditions and the interface between primary care and paediatrics. His goal after his DPhil and completing his residency is to become a clinician-scientist, bridging his clinical work in paediatrics with leadership in health systems and health services research. Christian is an avid chef and baker who loves to share his creations with his friends and family.
