Biography
Zak Devey is a 22-year old University of Auckland Senior Scholar and Psychology/Sociology Graduate. Co-founder of Youth Arts New Zealand and the Te Kāhui Creative Writing in Corrections Programme, Zak is passionate about providing equitable access to tools that rangatahi (youth) can use to express themselves safely. Two-time Prime Ministers Scholarship for Asia Awardee, Zak is passionate about serving as an international citizen as well as caring for his home community of Tāmaki Makaurau. At Oxford, Zak aims to pursue MSc's in Sociology and Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation respectively.
